4 Channel High Power Remote Control 2 Motors of Electric Door Openers

A garage door opener is a motorized device that opens and closes garage doors. Most garage door openers are controlled by switches on the garage wall, as well as by remote controls carried by the owner. One of our customers told us that he wanted to find a remote controller for his two garage doors because of original remote has damaged.

The electric garage door opener consists of a power unit that contains the electric motor. We will try to use our product to replace original remote to control motors of openers. This is the 4 channel high power remote switch—S4PU-DC12+C-4. Each remote button controls each channel of receiver on and off. It can be used to control at most 4 same or different on / off electrical devices. Maximum working current is 30A each channel. This product can control 2 motors for positive and reverse rotation.

We prepare a demonstration to show how to control motors of garage door openers. We have the following material.

1 x 4 channel high power receiver (S4PU-DC12)

1 x 4-button remote transmitter (C-4)

2 x dc12v power adapters

2 x motors

Some lines

Suppose those two motors were fetched from two garage door openers. Two Motors are installed in the opener power unit. Now we are wiring them according to the wiring diagram.

A is common terminal. Each motor is supposed to be connected to A terminals of every two relays. B is normally closed terminal and C is normally open terminal. Connect terminal C to the positive and connect terminal B to the negative. We connect motors one by one.

Operation:

Setting control mode Momentary: Only connect Jumper-1

Press button 1, motor 1 rotates in positive direction.

Press button 2, motor 1 rotates in reverse direction.

Press button 3, motor 2 rotates in positive direction.

Press button4, motor 2 rotates in reverse direction.

The trolley outside of the opener is pulled along the track by a chain, belt, or screw that turns when the motor rotates. Then the garage door slide back and forth on the track, thus opening and closing the garage door.
